making a few bits of jewellery. The asymmetric necklace is not quite as I wanted it but I have learnt where I went wrong so I will hopefully make another tonight! - one that really works lol

My first attempt

at making a display bust for my jewellery. I need to pay a bit more attention to sizing but as a prototype I think it works quite well. Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated.

Rush order

for a wedding card. Ordered at 3pm for collection in the evening so I kept it very simple. Luckily the lady loved it! The other card is an adaptation of one of the shoebox cards from the Guildford meet & I'm sure my sil & bil will love it.

So long since I last posted

but I have been busy with cards, jewellery & decorating at home. Unfortunately it's not finished yet but may have to wait till school's back lol

Some crafty friends & myself had a meet up here in Guildford last weekend. We had a great day with shoebox cards, delicious lunch & lots of laughs. Some of us carried the day on by going out for dinner which was lovely & involved even more laughs. Thanks ladies!

My friend, Pam, has had a lovely stamp made for me & I adore it. Thank you Pam mwah mwah.

I have made some of the shoebox cards from our meet & still have some not quite finished. I have also made a card which I thought would be really difficult but once it was in my head it all worked out ok, I think.

Teddy Boy

I was unsure what I should make for my cousin's 70th birthday then I remembered the Flippin Teddy Boy from La Pashe.

I have used both sides of the teddy boy & attached him with a strip of acetate so he moves. I'm sure John will love it - at least I hope so!

Pork chop & some rhinos

I really love this image & as soon as I saw it I knew who the recipient would be lol. I don't know many 14 year old girls that prefer rhinos to make up or boy bands but that's what was requested!
